"New Again"
Rain makes everything new again
Bright, crisp appearance of wet paint
Shimmering, translucent, glowing, fresh
My tires with deep purple racing stripes
Asphalt appears newly tarred, rolled, flattened
Bump-free, not faded, visible miles ahead
Grass and pine trees a majestic green
High definition, each blade, each swaying branch
Reaches out to say I'm alive producing oxygen
I imagine God/dess, the creator very pleased
Perfection achieved by climatic changes
Property of water renews, refreshes
Mortal being comprehends its eloquence.
