I've been quiet on this website for a while. Only because my family came to visit and I'm now recovering from five days of having guests in the house. Bubbles caused me intense heartache when he refused to see my relatives after I drove them to the family home which now belongs to Boaz. My father knocked on Bubbles bedroom door. But the high school senior, man child refused to come out. We ended up talking to Boaz for thirty minutes before leaving. We had arrived at their residence two hours earlier. When Bubbles saw my vehicle parked in front of the house, he drove his car to a nearby shopping mall. Avoiding us and killing time. My 72 year old father was devastated. He flew over 3800 miles to visit relatives.

I had some private, heart felt discussions with my father when he was here. One involved his hygiene. While alone, I told him he smelled like an Amish man. Which is a nice, polite way of saying he needs to wear deodorant. A study released this week supported the notion that straight women are attracted to male perspiration. This study involved straight women in a controlled environment (lab setting) who were exposed to scents that mimicked male sweat. Of course, no bisexual or lesbian women were included in the study as to eliminate extraneous variables. The study, reported this week in The Journal of Neuroscience, provides the first direct evidence that humans, like rats, moths and butterflies, secrete a scent that affects the physiology of the opposite sex.

"This is the first time anyone has demonstrated that a change in women's hormonal levels is induced by sniffing an identified compound of male sweat," as opposed to applying a chemical to the upper lip, said study leader Claire Wyart, a post-doctoral fellow at UC Berkeley.

I have never liked the smell of sweat on anyone, especially men. When a person first begins to perspire, it's not stinky until it hits the air and ripens. Then... oh my nostrils... I want to gag! Or hand the offending person a stick of deodorant, soap, and shower towel.

Also, my trust level for men took another nose dive this week. My sister Ruby had an outbreak of cold sores on her lips. Which began to bleed while she was staying at my house. Stress and/or excitement can trigger the outbreak. When I gently theorized she could have been exposed to a herpes type virus, she became very upset and even more worried. I think her lazy, sneaky, ex-husband gave her the STD. No telling where his lips had been. Now she has to inform her new husband of the dormant virus in her system. We are identical twins. And I never get multiple cold sores. If I even get one, it's usually inside my mouth. Very rare occurence. I'm angry because my other sister contracted genital herpes from a military male soldier when she was a young woman in her early twenties. Stress causes her sores to reappear downstairs. It sickens me how women are so vulnerable and all trusting with men... many who behave like alley cats. My sisters were/are not sluts or serial daters. Ordinary American girls who wanted to meet Mr. Right, get married, have a family. Both have to go through life with a reminder of a bad partner, deceitful person who should have warned them of STD exposure. Fucking scum.

I'm not in a pleasant mood this evening. Not surprised Anna Nicole Smith is dead. She became very depressed over losing her son Daniel. She reminds me that people (namely men and some dykes) stumble over themselves pleasing and courting a stereotypical blonde bombshell. Had Nicole Smith been a plain Jane or ugly Betty, it's doubtful she would have become a rich celebrity, let alone a dead one. Can't tell you how many times I've seen people lower their guard, hurt their wallets, pride, and self-esteem over a two bit bimbo. Looks fade people. We each have about 75 quality years on earth, maximum. Less for those who contract diseases or become addicts of some kind. Yet we cling and gravitate to the beautiful, illusionary ones. Hold onto bad people, bad choices, bad treatment. All because our pride and huge egos will not choose wisely. Beauty is usually the first choice over brains and substance.
