Lord, it would be asking too much Having a girlfriend who gets me One who takes things on a daily basis Not expecting us to live forever
Lord, it would be wanting too much Sharing a weekend of fun and frolic Taking her a ride on my scooter Not expecting to crash or fight
Lord, it would be praying too much Attending church or outdoor hikes Walking with her to both events Not expecting to convert anyone
It would be expecting too much
For someone educated, stable, happy
Easy on the eyes, wanting to stay longer
Not looking for a consolation prize
