April 14, 2006 - 4:00 p.m. Today marks the beginning of my new vacation plans. I purchased a liquidated timeshare which covers the Western states, Midwest, Florida, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. It's based on points or credits, instead of color-coded weeks. I received a total of 3500 points plus 6000 annual ones to be redeemed in November. I will probably go to Kona or Maui during the winter season. I've made two important promises to myself this year. Lose 20 pounds and travel more often. Not that I don't travel quite a bit on business related matters. I'm going to focus more time on music, writing, and getting my house ready for possible sale. I want to eventually own a one story home with acreage and room for my small sailboat. And a garden. I want to grow vegetables. And flowers. My next goal is to become a real estate agent and work part-time selling homes. Naomi completed her test yesterday. And hopes to become a broker. Things are looking up for her. That's why I am willing to hang in there and wait for her ship to sail the seas of success and prosperity. Byron is taking passage to Ireland. While Naomi is trying to make her good fortune in America. It's uncanny how both of them are finally at a place in their lives where the future looks as bright as one could expect in 2006. Find out what makes you happy. Take pleasure in the small things life has to offer. Live each day to the fullest. Because you don't have that many to waste away when the best part of your life is half way over. That's how I feel this moment as a forty something woman. The quality of my life could last another 30-40 years at most. I should not piss them away with regrets or good intentions. ~ Soldier Girl
