I look at this photograph of a British Marine soldier and I feel so much empathy for her and the other 14 hostages. The picture above portrays the female soldier Faye Turney who is 26 years old, a trained boat driver, who is married to another British soldier. They are parents of a two year old girl. Faye is being used by the Iranian government as media propaganda. No doubt, the Iranians threatened her life if she didn't write the two letters, wear the Muslim garments and go on television as their spokesperson, talking head. Her subtle acts of rebellion make me a champion for her side. In the picture, I like how she smokes a cigarette and wears the scarf high on her head, exposing her bangs. Body language experts detect she is under duress. Yeah, you would be too if some asshole(s) threatened your life and made you a pawn for their political, religious beliefs.
If I were Tony Blair and the British government, I would give Iran 24 hours to release the 15 British soldiers and Marines. If Iran refused to cooperate, I would target one of their uranium, nuclear power plants and blow the target to smithereens. If the hostages were not released, I'd keep picking Iranian targets to blow up until they surrendered the hostages. If any of the 15 marines are harmed, I would take revenge on Tehran. After warning the Iranian people to get the hell out of dodge. And rain down on the capital city with bombs. When dealing with radical fundamentalists, Shiite whack jobs... reason and humanity get thrown out the window. They might better understand the iron fist, whack upside the head.
When I look at the 26 year old Faye, I see a glimpse of Diamond. Her real name contains the letters Erma. They both have the same hair color and like to smoke or pretend to smoke. Other similiarities exist but mostly in my head. I imagine if Diamond and I were close friends, I'd recommend she take a road trip with me to Canada or Seattle this year. And talk her into looking at a BMW F650CS model. The copper gold one is cool. Along with the silver. She might like the heated grips, lighter body style, street rims and tubeless tires. We could hang out together at campsites during the 2-3 weeks of road time. If she still smokes cigs, I would encourage her to give it up. Green salad I could live with but couldn't be around her when inhaling. I'm too close to obtaining a military retirement to blow smoke in my lungs and have the THC absorb into the fatty tissue.
Someone keeps emailing me ads about losing weight. It's making me angry. I have enrolled myself into the Nutrisystem meal program. And I exercise 3-4 times per week. So fuck yourself skinny cows. I am trying to lose the weight. Each decade you grow older, you lose 10% metabolism. So I am burning 60% of the fat I could burn when I was 10 years old. See how lopsided and unfair the deck is stacked against middle age people. I don't look fat when I visit the midwest and other non-coastal states. Out there, people allow age and food to catch up with them. Here everyone tries to mask their age and weight. Whatever it takes to stay forever young. Paint your face. Suck out the fat with a special machine. Expensive shit.
I may start dating again in six months to a year. I want to lose 20 pounds. And climb upon my high horse like everyone else around here. If I could date men and women in the open and remain in the military, that would be devine. Because I could find a quality person who is most compatible with me. Water finds its own level. I laugh when I see personal ads that reflect wishful thinking. A 45 year old male looking for someone a decade younger. The same person who won't date a woman his own biological age. Fuck you narcissistic man. Fuck the Iranians for making Faye Turney adhere to their Muslim standards and second-class treatment of women. We're not your domestic slaves. Americans and Brits for the most part respect incarcerated, detained Muslims. We give them Korans to read, special diets free of pork and offensive food & drink. How dare they inflict their religious beliefs and customs on us. Fucking hypocrits. Bomb them back to the 12th century. Make Iran a parking lot if that's what it takes to get their political attention. Make them stop infiltrating Iraq and the UN territorial waterways with their bullshit, self-proclaimed boundaries, IED explosives, and bogus Global Positioning System coordinates.
